Crockpot Baked Beans

Preparation time:  10 minutes
Servings: 10

  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 oz lean ground beef
  • 1 24-oz can vegetarian baked beans
  • 1 12-oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 16-oz can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • ½ tsp maple extract
  1. Cook the onion, bacon, and beef over medium-high heat for 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a Crockpot. 
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cook on medium for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
